100-Watt Ceramic Heat Emitter

Ceramic heat emitters project invisible infrared heat into your reptile or birds environment to provide 24-hour heating both day and night.

These lamps emit no visible light and as such are the perfect choice for many systems where heat is required throughout the day and night without disturbing essential circadian rhythms with unwanted light. 

• For 30-gallon to 40-gallon terrariums.
• Perfect for all reptiles; high humidity, temperate, or desert terrariums.
• These long-lasting porcelain heat lamps screw into a standard porcelain incandescent socket, giving off intense muscle-penetrating infrared heat, while emitting no light.
• Be sure your animals can not touch these emitters as they get very hot and will burn on contact. Always use a light fixture that is rated for the wattage of the bulb or higher. Fixtures and safety cages can be found at Bean Farm.
• To ensure accurate heat transfer there should also be a thick natural slate or rock placed underneath the heat lamp at a suitable distance for your own species.
• To further protect your animals and to extend the life of the lamp these lamps should be used with a suitable thermostat and checked regularly with a separate thermometer.
• When used properly, CHEs can last several years before needing to be replaced.

Note: To get the most life out of your bulb please be sure to shut off power to the fixture BEFORE removing or installing a bulb.
