1000 Feet - 18 Gauge Extreme Dog Fence Brand Professional Underground Electric Dog Fence Boundary Wire

eXtreme Dog Fence Wire - 18 Gauge (One Gauge Thicker than Factory Packaged 20 Gauge Wire) - 1000 Feet (Up to 1 Acre)It's unfortunate that many of the 'do it yourself' electric dog fence kits include a cheap, thin 20 gauge PVC coated underground dog fence wire, but that is how manufacturers keep the initial cost low. Unfortunately, the customer doesn't realize that they could be out digging up and replacing this wire after a year or two, when it degrades to the point of failure.Odd as it is, the American Wire Gauge (AWG) measurements are backward, in that -The higher the gauge, the thinner the wire. IE: 20 gauge wire is thinner than 18 gauge wire. This listing is for 18 gauge wire, which is a nice, longer lasting wire than the 20 gauge packaged wire. Our 18 gauge wire is also coated in a rugged polyethylene jacket, which is not only lighter than PVC, but also outperforms it in eXtreme temperatures, moisture resistance, abrasion resistance, and many other areas. As far as compatibility goes, this wire is 100% compatible with: eXtreme Dog Fence PetSafe SportDOG Innotek Invisible Fence Dog Watch Pet Stop Contain Your Pet Dog Guard Perimeter Technologies Dogtek Dogtra Guardian... and all other brands of in-ground electric dog fence systems.Make the right choice for your dog's safety and reliable containment.
