1157 LED Auto Bulb - CREE XP-E, Super Bright Cool White LED - Protective Cover - Auto, Marine, RV, Truck - BAY15D Base

This super bright 1157 base (BAY15D), G18 sized LED uses a single, high output CREE XP-E LED. Too bright to photograph when fully powered, we dimmed the bulb significantly in order to show it in images. This version is a 1157 Base (dual contact points, offset retainers on both sides) and operates on 12 VDC. Often referred to as a BAY15D type base. Designed to produce more light than even high-powered LED bulbs, this CREE XP-E equipped bulb is BRIGHT! Surprisingly, the protective glass cover remains relatively cool to the touch despite its high output of 95 Lumen. The protective cover makes it easier to use and more durable than other bulb types that are open to the elements and moisture. Designed to provide superior light output, we've used these in vehicles of every type - marine, auto, RV, truck and even in aircraft navigation lights. Extremely low power consumption and high brightness.
