Blood Python (Python brongersmai) Bioactive Vivarium Kit

A complete bioactive terrarium kit for Python brongersmai, or most commonly know as the Malaysian Blood Python! 

This heavy-bodied creature hails from swamps and marshes in Malaysian, West Sumatra, and Singapore. They have also been spotted in small, niche areas within Thailand and Myanmar. Blood Pythons are aptly named for their intense, rusty-red coloration their scales have; some believe that their name truly comes from the fact that this species is fairly aggressive and unpredictable, drawing blood when they strike the hand that feeds! This could not be further from the truth, and in reality they are impeccable ambush predators that will not miss an opportunity to catch a meal. Waiting patiently under foliage and logs in the marshes is what this species does best. To create an amazing bioactive set up for this beast of a snake, we have implemented plenty sturdy wood pieces and plants to create a densely crowded and tropical marshland.

With The Dude's Terra Firma, you are able to recreate a habitat that makes your Blood Python feel more secure. Microflora is included (BioShot), we recommend supplementing with Tropical springtails and Isopods for microfauna. Not only will the substrate retain all tunnels, burrows, and divets that your snake creates, but it also allows them to do what they like to do as critters! This kit includes everything that you need to get started going bioactive.
