Blueair Pro L Air Purifier

One of the best Blueair air purifiers in terms of price per area cleaned is the Blueair Pro L. Designed for rooms up to 780 square feet, the Pro L features two fan units and filter chambers to increase the delivered air flow and maintain their advanced filtration rates.

Delivering air at a rate of up to 660 cubic feet per minute, the Pro L can perform 6.34 air changes per hour in a room up to 780 square feet. This far exceeds the five air changes per hour recommended by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers for people with asthma or allergies. This clean, fresh air will help provide relief from some respiratory ailments, especially seasonal pollen allergies. The Blueair Pro L ships with two Blueair Pro HEPASilent particle filters which can capture 99.97% of air particles as small as 0.1 micrometers, which include pollen, pet dander, fine dust particles, mold spores, and even bacteria. The antimicrobial filter media neutralizes these microbes, ensuring that they will not grow on your filters. If you are looking to upgrade your Pro L to be able to neutralize odors, consider ordering the supplemental Carbon+ filter which is a dedicated odor and gaseous particle filter, or else replace your HEPASilent filter with the hybrid SmokeStop filter to get a single filter that captures airborne particles and blocks gaseous particles and odors. Blueair is able to achieve the great filtration performance thanks to its electrostatic precipitator, which charges air particles just before they enter the filters. The charged air particles are then drawn into the filter fibers, becoming permanently trapped.

During independent testing by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers, the Blueair Pro L scored off the charts during the Clean Air Deliver Rate test. Thanks to the high CADR scores compared to its maximum energy consumption of 170 watts, the Pro L was awarded the Energy Star Certification by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Pro L is made from environmentally friendly materials, and is virtually 100% recyclable when it finally reaches the end of its long service lifespan. One more exquisite feature of the Blueair Pro L is its quiet operation. The 32 decibels produced on its lowest speed is nearly inaudible, and on the highest speed, the 55 decibels are not even so loud as to interfere with conversation or everyday activity.

Ordering the separately sold Blueair Air Intelligence Module will allow your Pro L to monitor the levels of air particles in the room and respond on its own to changing levels of air pollutants. When particle counts are high, the Pro L will shift into a higher speed to deal with the issue. Once the particle count is lowered, the Pro L will automatically slow down to a lower speed to conserve energy.

Order the Blueair Pro L for a fashionable, high performance air purifier that blends in well to most rooms and will keep your home environment healthy and clean.
