This galvanized boat trailer axle is manufactured by Continental and has a 2500lb. weight capacity with proper spring placement. It is ideal for boat trailers due to it's hot-dipped galvanized coating which provides superior corrosion resistance and protection from saltwater. The spindles on this axle feature the EZ-Lube system* which allows you to grease the bearings via a zerk fitting on the tip of each spindle. *EZ-Lube system allows you to grease your bearings through a grease fitting on the spindle and will not be compatible with the Bearing Buddy System. Axle Measurements: - Hub face measures 71 1/2" - this measurement determines the location of your hubs in relation to your frame and fenders. - Overall length measures 76" tip to tip. - Will safely accommodate a spring seat center of 52 " to 59.5" (any spring seat measurement outside of this range means the axle will be de-rated, or it will not mount up to your trailer correctly.) Includes Fully adjustable Hot Dipped Galvanized spring seats which offer easy setup with no welding or drilling! This adjustable spring seat is used with your U-Bolts and Mounting plate to set your leaf springs in the same location as they were on your previous axle.
