BOSCH GDS18V-740CN PROFACTOR™ 18V Connected-Ready 1/2 In. Impact Wrench with Friction Ring (Bare Tool)

The Bosch PROFACTOR™ GDS18V-740C 18V Connected-Ready 1/2 In. Impact Wrench with Friction Ring is designed for breaking free and driving large bolts, nuts and anchors quickly. It is part of the PROFACTOR™ System, which pairs BITURBO Brushless™ Technology with a CORE18V® High Power Battery. BITURBO Brushless™ Technology is a high-performance motor and drive-train system designed to deliver power comparable to high-demand corded tools. The tool delivers up to 740 Ft.-Lbs. fastening torque and 1,180 Ft.-Lbs. breakaway torque, while maintaining long runtime. In addition to three speed/torque settings this impact wrench also features special modes to help prevent workpiece and fastener damage. The presets include modes for metal screws and wood lag screws. Additional modes and customizations for specific screws and materials can be set and saved to the tool via the Bosch Toolbox App (connectivity module sold separately). In reverse, with bolt mode activated, the Auto Bolt Release stops rotation when there is no load on the tool to help prevent accidentally dropping bolts and nuts during removal. In addition to customizing settings and modes, connectivity (module sold separately), provides tool specific information and feedback. The variable-speed trigger provides accurate driving speed. It also has an LED light system to illuminate the work area. The wrench features a rubber head casing that helps protect workpiece and tool from damage.
