Corning BioCoat Gelatin Cellware is made of polystyrene gelatin from porcine. It is a growth promoting substrate for cultures of many varieties, including the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC), muscle, embryonic stem (ES) cells, and F9 teratocarcinoma cells. Gelatin is also ideal for promoting adhesion of transfected cell types. It is a heterogeneous mixture of water-soluble proteins, derived through the hydrolysis of collagen. Corning also offers 96-, 384-, and 1536-well High-Content Imaging Plates in a variety of surface chemistries to meet the user's cell culture needs. 96-well plates are equipped with flat bottoms as well as custom surfaces, to.
