If you're into dirt jumping, the Halo DJD Rear SS Hub is a great choice. Tested by our renowned dirt jump team, this hub is part of our best DJ range yet.
What sets the DJ series apart is its impressive strength-to-weight ratio. The DJD hub features a bushed driver, which is lighter and more durable than cartridge bearings, especially with smaller sprockets.
The Halo DJD Rear SS Hub includes a 3 pawl, 30 point engagement mechanism, ensuring durability without a hefty price. Wide spoke flanges contribute to a stiff wheel build, while sealed main hub bearings enhance longevity. At its core, the hub has a lightweight yet strong hollow alloy axle, featuring a 6mm central hex for easy removal of bolt-in fixings without axle spin.
Included are heat-treated M10 Cr-Mo steel bolts and 14mm adaptors, making the hub compatible with 135 x 10/14mm dropouts. Note that our rear DJ hubs no longer come with a sprocket, so please select a 'DJD Supadrive and Bushdrive Sprocket' to match your bike.
