Dormer Pramet E100M2NO8 Straight Flute M-Hand Tap Set is a comprehensive threading solution for producing ISO-Metric threads of M2 with a 0.40mm pitch and 6H class of fit. This set consists of three taps: one with a truncated thread profile and a 6-8xP taper lead, one with a truncated thread profile and a 3.5-5xP second lead and one with a 2-3xP plug lead. Each tap is manufactured according to DIN 352 standards, featuring a 2.8mm shank and a 2.1mm square drive. Made from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright finish, this set is suitable for 1.5xD through or blind hole threading in free machining and plain carbon steel as well as non-ferrous metals, ensuring durability and precision for a range of threading applications.
