The Fire Guard “G” is a heavy Galvanized Steel grease filter. Manufactured with heavy 24 gauge Galvanized Steel, allowing for extra strength and rigidity in the range hood. The extra weight helps with vibration when inside the hood. The pad is enclosed in a heavy galvanized Steel frame, secured at one corner with rivets. Designed with the “Hood Cleaning” service in mind, these filters are made to hold up through the toughest conditions. When ordering, state vertical dimension first to assure proper installation.

CLEANABILITY: Easily cleaned in a conventional or commercial dishwasher, sink or by steam. Galvanized Steel can withstand some stronger alkali solutions but it may cause discoloration in the filter. Cleaning times may vary per application depending upon the type and amount of grease that has accumulated. Because of the heavy Steel, the Smith FIRE GUARD “G” should withstand numerous cleanings.
