Lamole di Lamole's Maggiolo Chianti Classico DOCG takes its name from the iris — "giaggiolo" in local dialect — a flower that blooms across the Lamole vineyards each May, and whose spirit is woven into every sip. A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, the 2023 opens with a bright ruby color and a floral bouquet of cyclamens and violets, layered with mulberry, blackberry, blueberry, sweet spice, and cacao. The palate is fresh, mellow, and rounded — a joyful expression of one of Chianti Classico's most distinctive terroirs.
