When a dispenser is configured for fewer flavors than the head is capable of, these blanks are installed in the unused injector ports to maintain the manifold's pressure and prevent the 'sanitizer-soak' water from leaking into the cabinet.
Problem Solved: This part prevents internal leaks and flavor contamination. Without a blank in an unused port, the water pressure inside the head can force fluids back into the dry syrup channels, leading to mold growth and pressure loss that results in foamy drinks from the active valves.
