Mama's Little Man

Mama's Little Man is a tender story about a mother's deep love for her son as he grows from infancy into adulthood. When Mama first holds her newborn, she discovers a love so big it scares her. Unsure of how to be a mother, she turns to God, praying for wisdom, protection, and the strength to care for her little boy.As Little Man grows, Mama cherishes every stage-the sleepless nights, the tiny hands, the bright blue eyes, and the way he clings to her. She prays over him continually, asking God to shape him into a strong warrior for His Kingdom. She delights in his curiosity, imagination, and tender heart, even as she wishes time would slow down.Through childhood and adolescence, Little Man fishes with his Pa, plays sports, daydreams, and leaves messes around the house. Mama lovingly guides him, teaching and nurturing him through each season. Even when he becomes taller than her-and smellier-she treasures every hug and every shared moment. Their bond grows into a quiet, unspoken connection that words can't fully express.As he becomes a young man, Mama feels the bittersweet ache of letting go. She watches him fall in love, marry, and begin a new life, proud of the man he has become yet tenderly remembering the little boy with blond hair, sticky fingers, and big dreams.When Little Man prepares to welcome a child of his own, Mama's heart is full.
