| Texture | The texture of mushroom popcorn is described as firm, round, with a bit of chewiness. It's also characterized as crunchy, with a continuous surface that holds liquid coatings well, unlike the lighter, airier butterfly popcorn. Some sources note a slight styrofoam-like texture, while others emphasize its crispiness and a balance of crispy and chewy. |
