Quik Grip Square Rod Alloy CAM chain is made from high grade manganese alloy steel. Alloy tire chains wear considerably longer than regular carbon steel chains. Heavy duty cross chains are constructed of 7x7 (7mm) square rod alloy steel for added traction and durability. They out-perform any ladder style heavy duty link chain on the market. The square rod steel provides much more aggressive traction. These chains come in a distinctive yellow zinc finish. CAMs are pieces of stamped steel that are placed on the outside rail (chain) of the tire chain. The keyhole on the CAM allows a tool to be inserted and turned which takes up slack in the chain. * Chain tensioners are not required. * CAM tool #QG20095 is included in each bag of chain.
