The thread gauge ring must screw onto the thread of the work piece manually, without excessive force, along its entire length. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected). The reference temperature for the work pieces and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent laboratory, following the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.

• Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force
• Thread Mismatch Indicator: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed onto the thread, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected)
• Reference Temperature: The workpiece and measuring tools should be at a reference temperature of 20°C
