Rain Lily Live Aquatic Plant

The Rain Lily (Zephyranthes candida) , is a wonderful plant that will adorn your water garden pool. They are so named because they have a tendancy to burst into bloom after a rain hence the adopted common name. However, during the summer, after the Spring rains they continue to bloom well into the fall. They have lovely and showy stary white blossoms. The plant produces foot long, dark green, rush-like leaves. The pure white blossom against the dark green leaves makes an attractive sight. The groupings of the Rain Lily make attractive displays and is why Tricker's recommends them in groups of three.
