These Batik Bone beads are a traditional craft of Kenya. Each bead has been has been cut, polished, and patterned in a starfish design by hand. Batik bone beads are most frequently found in round and smooth shapes so these flat hexagonal beads are an innovative variant! Each bead measures approximately 19-21 x 17-22mm with a hole size of 2mm and a strand length of 30". The beads has been strung on natural raffia straw.
