The First Cut showcases its true identity by allowing each component to be rested in hand selected casks, imparting a refined flavour and finish. A perfect marriage of nature & nurture; a whiskey to be enjoyed neat & never rushed. Using a 5 part blend from Virgin Oak Grain, Ex-Bourbon Grain, Ex-Oloroso Pot Still, Ex-Bourbon Double Distilled Malt and Ex-Bourbon Peated Malt, the Blenders Cut also acquires its rich, complex yet balanced flavour by drawing liquid from carefully matured & married casks of malt, grain and pot still whiskey. Two Stacks is a truly distinctive Irish Whiskey that blends the very best of contemporary Irish flavour with real distilling heritage.
Nose: Creme Brulee, shortbread cookie dough, fresh peaches and a faint hint of peat.
Palate: Charred oak, lemon zest, salted caramel and traces of spicy pepper.
Finish: A gentle finish with the caramel and pepper lingering.
