Amazon.com Delicately detailed and invitingly shaped, it's easy to see why Vieux Luxembourg is one of Villeroy & Boch's most enduring dinnerware patterns. This porcelain dinner plate measures 10-1/2 inches with an ample serving area framed by a wide, round border. Sprays of dark blue flowers grace the creamy white glaze, which is perfectly smooth in the center but subtly textured on the rim by radiating wavy lines. Completing the decoration, a thin, navy line elegantly traces the plate's outer edge. The final effect is both organic and refined, giving an intimate meal for two or a large celebration an equally cozy ambiance. Imported from Germany, this porcelain pattern was first introduced in 1768 and has withstood the test of time and fashion. Today's version is vitrified for durable everyday use and goes safely in the dishwasher and microwave. It also matches an extensive line of serving dishes, accessories, and bakeware--perfect for creating an elegantly coordinated home décor. --Kara Karll
