As she flies thought the streets of London, dancing with the traffic, Chappell records the pains and pleasures - both central and physical - of life on wheels: the hurtling, dangerous missions; the moments of fear and freedom, anger and exhaustion; the camaraderie of the courier tribe; the conflict between bicycle and road, body and mind.

Discovering hidden streets, fascinating characters and evoking emotions (often unwanted) from other road users. Over time, Chappell found that "the unlikeliest street corners will have some tattered threads of memory fluttering from them like a flag".
